About Us

The Department of Electronic Engineering is was founded in 1981 from the parent Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering, one of the pioneer departments in the Faculty of Engineering, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. The Department was founded on the national intention to be a part of the digital revolution and the Universities goal to be at the frontiers of knowledge and development in Electronic Engineering. READ MORE

Why study Electronic Engineering?

Many of our staff have strong links with international universities and go on exchange programs. We regularly use leading-edge technology examples in lectures, and students experience this first hand in their final year MEng project carried out in cooperation with a member of academic staff. We are very well placed to teach students what is important for their future careers and make them leaders of tomorrow.
