The objectives of the lab’s activities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing a study and research centre, first, for undergraduate and postgraduate students of the department of Electronic Engineering, then other relevant departments in the Faculty of Engineering as well as the university at large.
  • Offering access to a computer network containing the most sophisticated software for Data Analytics, Machine Learning and Software Engineering in general.
  • Bridging the gap between the academia and industry in artificial intelligence development by offering extensive workshops / hands-on trainings to students at all levels.
  • Facilitating cross-disciplinary research between departments in the Faculty of Engineering and the Physical Sciences within the university, by offering advanced technological resources for high performance computation and data analysis relevant to multidisciplinary research.
