- Hand washing / Personal hygiene: Wash your hands often
- Clean and disinfect (Use of hand sanitizers)
- Social distancing: is encouraged to minimize the spread of the virus
- Students are to note the following:
- All Students must wear face masks and carry hand sanitizers before they will be allowed access to hostels, classrooms and any office in the University;
- Students are expected to utilize the handwashing materials provided in designated places in the University to wash their hands properly as they gain entry and depart various places;

- Considering that Engineering Annex offices are poorly ventilated, and we have over 600 students in the Department, all students of Electronic Engineering cannot possibly visit the Departmental offices. Therefore, students should employ the means of official emails, phone calls, etc., in contacting their Lecturers, HOD, Course Advisers, Mentors, Secretary. Students are encouraged to only visit the Departmental Offices after these means have been employed.
- Physical distancing must be maintained in the classrooms. Therefore, the classroom seats / desk tops shall be marked (observing 6 feet physical distancing) and indicating where students can sit to physically attend lectures safely. The rest of the students that cannot be accommodated will partake virtually. The class Reps with the help of the DIGITRON Adviser will draw up a schedule for physical participants in favor of all students in a class.
- ECE Lecturers will adopt a blended learning style for lecture delivery. The Departmental lectures could be accessed from a YouTube Channel; E-Learning Module or weblinks accessible from the ECE website of the Department of Electronic Engineering, UNN – http://ece.unn.edu.ng.
